Grovia understands the concerns and respects the privacy of Users and/or Clients and wants Users and/or Clients to understand how Grovia collects, uses and/or shares User and/or Client data (“Personal Information”). This Privacy Policy covers Grovia's practice of collecting data and describes the rights of Users and/or Clients to access, correct, or restrict the use of User and/or Client personal information by Growia. By visiting the platform and using the Grovia services, the User and/or the Client agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Grovia strongly encourages Users and/or Clients to read and understand how Users' and/or Clients' personal information is collected, transferred and/or processed in Indonesia. Content in any form that Users and/or Clients submit through this website is at the User's and/or Client's own risk. Since Grovia has limited rights over the information that Users and/or Clients enter, Grovia does not guarantee that content provided on the Grovia platform will not be visible to third parties. Therefore, Grovia is not responsible for fraud and/or misuse of information provided by users and/or Clients.
This privacy policy describes how Grovia collects and uses information collected from Grovia websites, platforms and visitors to Grovia services, especially personal information. This privacy policy also applies to information that Grovia shares with Grovia business partners. This privacy policy does not apply to websites and platforms that do not belong to Grovia. Any use of inappropriate content or information is a violation of Grovia's terms of service and can be reported to the email hello@growia.education
When using the Grovia website, Users and/or Clients may enter personal information of Users and/or Clients in the form of e-mail addresses, names and other information. The information that the User and/or the Client provides is then collected for the needs of personalization and service needs that Grovia provides as well as the improvement of the quality of the service.
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers used to transfer data from the browser to the hard drive of the User and/or Client's computer. Grovia uses cookies for purposes such as analyzing the User and/or Client's use of the platform, personalizing the User and/or Client's experience, making it easier for Users and/or Clients to log into the Grovia platform, and to recognize when Users and/or Clients return to web pages. Grovia uses web beacons (small objects that allow Grovia to measure the activity of visitors and users using the Services) for things like determining whether a page has been visited, determining whether an email has been opened, and making advertising more effective by excluding current users from certain promotional messages or determining the download source of a new mobile app.
The User and/or the Client may set the web browser to notify the User and/or the Client when a cookie is attempted to be placed on the User's and/or Client's computer, to limit the types of cookies that the User and/or Client allows, or to reject cookies entirely. If done, Users and/or Clients may not be able to use some or all of the features of the Grovia platform and the User and/or Client experience may be different or with reduced functionality.
No personal information will be collected without the consent of the User and/or the Client. Users and/or Clients will be notified in advance of other uses of the User and/or Client's personal information, such as for recruitment by partners/associates. Grovia does not share User and/or Client personal information with third parties.
Grovia uses third-party advertising services such as Facebook, Google Ads Services, and other ad networks and ad servers to serve ads about the Grovia platform on other websites and applications that users and/or Clients use.
Advertising may be based on what Grovia knows about users and/or Clients, such as user and/or Client system usage and data, and what these advertising service providers know about users and/or Clients based on tracking data. Advertising may be based on the recent activity or activity of the User and/or the Client from time to time across other sites and services and may be tailored to the interests of the user and/or the Client.
In connection with the type of advertising services that Grovia uses, it may place cookies or other tracking technologies on the User's and/or Client's computer, phone or other device in order to collect data about the User and/or Client's use of the Grovia platform and may access these tracking technologies to display advertisements tailored to the User and/or Client. To help serve personalized advertising, Grovia may provide these service providers with anonymous and hashed versions of the User's and/or Client's e-mail addresses (in non-readable form) and the content that Users and/or Clients share publicly on the Grovia platform.
As mentioned earlier, Users and/or Clients are allowed not to provide User and/or Client information, even if absolutely necessary to use the Grovia services. Users and/or Clients may add or change User and/or Client details. When Users and/or Clients change User and/or Client information, Grovia may have User and/or Client information that has not been changed. Some types of messages, such as messages, cannot be deleted and Grovia retains User and/or Client data even if Users and/or Clients delete such data. If Users and/or Clients do not wish to receive electronic mail (email) from Grovia and wish to request deletion of User and/or Client data, please contact Hello@growia.education Please note that if Users and/or Clients do not wish to receive legal notices from Grovia, such as the Privacy Policy, this legal notice will remain in force for Users and/or Clients.
Over time Grovia may make changes to the Privacy Policy. The use of the information Grovia collects is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time the information is used. If Grovia makes changes to the manner in which the Client is personally informed, Grovia will notify the User and/or the Client by e-mail or by posting a Grovia web site announcement. Users and/or Clients are bound by changes to the Privacy Policy when using the website following such change.
